This Kennedy arm chair was designed by Hans Wegner ,a Danish master of furniture design.This wood arm chair is one of the most famous chairs designed by him,which was extremely popular since 1960,when this solid wood chair appeared in the TV programme where John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon was debating for presidency.So it was also called Kennedy chair.Further,it is so famous that sometimes it was simply called The Chair.This wooden chair with arms are used in many scenes.sometimes it acts as wooden dining chairs paired with other solid wood dining tables,sometimes, it is used as a meeting chairs or lounge chair.
Now in China,many furniture factories reproduce this upholstered armchair,but quality is different.Some factory changed it a little to produce it easier.But for Artech, we want to keep the original taste and produce it as a tribute to Hans Wegner.
